| Elixir Spa: The Wellness Temple |
The Mediterranean Sea Region is surrounded by Beauty Centers, but surely there is no comparison with the one that you will find here at Cape Sounio. The luxury that is evoked from the "Elixir Spa" is really noteworthy even before entering. The building is of octagonal shape and the pecularity is given by widows that wrap around the building. The hall is made up by a wide space that bleni in the indoor and outdoor using natural materials that are inspired by nature. The floor is of a light colour and it has a nice contrast with the wickers chairs of a deep brown colour. Relax in this corner of the Spa, from which you can admire the blue colour of the sea. Fragrant candels, essential oils, soft lights and oriental music are only some of the features that fill the hall and the treatment rooms.
The suites are 7, designed in the colours that recall those of the sky and of paradise. Here, shiatsu, aromatherapy, reflexology, hot stone therapy and affusion massages are performed and natural extracts of plants are the ingredients used in the therapies. Still, the treatment that honors the God of the sea is the "Poseidon Elixir". This is an ancient therapy that is dates back to the Classic Era. Olive seeds, natural sea salt and clay rich of mineral salts are mixed together to be used on the skin. This combined with the benefits of the sauna will help to eliminate the toxins. Finally this treatment ends with a 45 minutes hand massage using a pear and dandellon extract cream that deeply penetrates and leaves the skin feeling silky-smooth and glowing.
