In 1880 the tradesman Georgios Roumpekas, who was a resident of Kefalari Village, built an architecturally splendid Mansion under the shade of a huge old oak and next to the Village Square.
With the help of Apostolos Parpairis professor of engineering, and with respect to tradition to our village we renovated this mansion. This was achieved by keeping the traditional atmosphere and at the same time creating a Hotel which includes all modern comforts. Hospitality is our sole purpose.
Almost everybody has an idea of the Hercules' Feats mythology. Many movies and books have been created to describe them. Now it's time to come and visit one of the most important places described in those Feats, Stimfalia's Region and Kefalari Village. |

Although Korinthia County in the wonderful Peloponnesus Region still an unknown destination for most people, those who love the beauty of nature and the natural way of living are familiar with it. This lovely 8 bedoom Kefalari Inn is located 57km from Corith, 170km from the Airport, 130km or 1 1/2 hours from Athens and 130km from Patras.
The traditional Inn, Arxontiko Kefalari is situated in the village of Kefalari Korinthia at 800m altitude and under the shadow of the plane tree by the main square and the stone-built church. Truly a lovely and peaceful guest house with many excursions to be organized and a fabulous menu and cuisine!

The homemade breakfast is served in the inn’s spacious breakfast room. Enjoy you coffee or drink in the lounge next to the fireplace.
You can also find delicious traditional food next to the pension.
A natural path that leads to an incredible forest starts at village square. Other paths for those who enjoy hiking, lead to the top of mountain Ziria, the ravine of Flampouritsa and the cavern of Hermes. Excursions to the mountain can be arranged though the old-road that connects Kefalari with Trikala village.
Mountain bikes and a mini bus are available for excursions.
