Ioannina City was one of the most influential Cities in Greece during the "Ottoman" Empire.
Still today you can visit the oldest parts of the city which is surrounded by original walls formed by labrinths and lined up with Turkish Style buildings and Mosques.
Today Ionnina is a lively commercial city with many cultural places to visit. It is possible to visit it by foot and perfect for those who want to add a cultural touch to their vacation. Some of the buildings to visit are: the Archeological Museam, Bizantino Museam, Tomb of Ali Pascia (creul leader who dominated the city in the past), the Mosque di Fetiye Cami built in the 1600 to feast the hunt of the Christians in the city, the Greek History Museam and the Folklore Museam.
