The Plaza Beach Hotel is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece. An unpaved road separates the hotel from the beach. Plaka beach is a wide stretch of fine-sand beach, several kilometers long. The beach has dunes and trees for natural shade.It is possible – of course – to hire umbrellas and sun-beds. The sea is usually calm and gets gradually deeper, so it is also suited for children. There are many rocks further into the sea, so it is ideal to snorkel there.

Naxos is the largest island in the Cyclades. It covers an area of 448 sq.km and has a coastline of 148 km long.
Naxos lies almost in the center of the Cyclades with Paros at the West, Donoussa at the east, Schinoussa and Koufonissia at the south while the north side faces Mykonos and Delos. It is possible to make day-trips to these islands, also to Santorini.
It is located at 103 nautical miles from Piraeus. It has a population of 20.000 inhabitants and more than a half is living in the island’s capital, Xora.
