Literally a few steps beyond the hotel entrance is the caldera rim, offering magnificent views of the cliff face and the volcano, especially at sunset.
The public areas of the hotel were totally redesigned in winter 2007-2008 by leading Greek architect Dimitris Tsitsos. The distinctive eclectic minimalism creates a calm relaxing ambience, conducive to a feeling of well-being.
